About Peachwood Farm
Our Story
Peachwood Farm was established in 2022 when two city folks decided to buy land in the countryside and start a hobby farm and homestead. In a very short time we have successfully learned how to build fencing, care for livestock, raise chickens, start a large garden, plant an orchard and involve our children throughout every step of the process. We were not born into this lifestyle but, we had a dream and this farm has been the ultimate blessing to our family!
Peachwood Farm is now home to a mini highland cow, a handful of mini donkeys, close to 30 chickens, a few ducks and a few farm cats.
In May of 2024, Kierstyn launched a brand new business, Farmgirl Candle Co., selling 100% soy farmhouse candles that are natural, clean-burning and hand poured right here on the farm.
Our farm is conveniently located in Carrollton, GA. In close proximity to Atlanta, GA and to all major West Georgia cities as well as East Alabama including Ranburne, AL, Wedowee, AL, Anniston, AL, Heflin, AL, Gadsden, AL and more.

At Peachwood Farm, our mission is to provide our community with organic eggs from happy hens! Our chickens free-range over 2 acres of pasture and are supplemented a diet of organic feed, organic fruits and veggies and high quality grubs.
We raise all of our chickens from day old chicks or we incubate our own eggs. We take great pride in providing the best life for our hens which results in high quality, organic eggs.

Mini Donkeys are our favorite on the farm! When we added 2 miniature donkeys to our farm in 2023, our lives changed forever. Mini donkeys are some of the sweetest, most affectionate animals! They have a peaceful demeanor and a calming presence. They bring so much joy to our lives!
We look forward to expanding our miniature donkey breeding program and to sharing these wonderful animals with our community, both near and far.

Holland lop bunnies make the sweetest pets and bonus - their "waste" is great for cold compost in the garden!!
Our farm specializes in rare, unique colored holland lop bunnies and blue-eyed bunnies!

Farmgirl Candle Co. was created by a candle-loving farmgirl who desperately wanted her farmhouse to smell lovely without the risk of burning harmful ingredients. Kierstyn set out on a mission to create deliciously scented farmhouse candles that were free of phthalates, paraffins and toxic chemicals.
You can rest-assured that our farmhouse candles are formulated from 100% soy wax, using 100% cotton wicks with pure essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances.
